Translating is difficult, most people don't realise how difficult, especially when you translate things you are completely unfamiliar with. Luckily Google is there. I always wonder how it was for translators back when Internet was not available. Now I could use one of those angry smileys waving frantically with their hands.

The title of my freshly created blog (a very creative name, I must add!) refers to my first venture at making potato gnocchi today and not liking them at all. It's rather time consuming for such a simple dish and it doesn't taste much. Very bland. I won't make it again, that's for sure. I thought about naming the blog 'flabbergasted' as I love the sound of that word, and I love unusual English words, but I certainly don't feel flabbergasted at the moment whereas I'm definitely not liking gnocchi right now.
